What I Liked
The great social media interactions between Simon and Blue. The great and SO true-to-life interactions Simon had with his friends. Simon’s parents are a hoot. And the little hints Albertalli dropped about who Blue really was. I spent the entire book guessing his identity. So fun!
What I Would Have Liked to See
So I still have a hangover from reading this book. When I think of anything, I’ll update this post. In the meantime, no it was 100% adorable.
My Favorite!
Simon. Like, holy crap, you guys. He is great. Outrageously cute. He has a voice that is so fun to read, and you can’t help but root for him from the very start.
TL;DR
Your typical high school, teen, drama-filled love story–but gay.
