Rejecting

The expectation that the need for safety, empathy, respect, etc will not be met with any kind of predictability.

Behaves in a critical or superior way toward others; Tries to come across as “perfect.”

Avoids sharing “shameful”
thought and feelings with
partners due to fear of rejection.

Chooses critical partners; Puts themselves down.

No one would love me if they saw my defects.

When people like me, it's just because I'm fooling them.

It's my fault if someone can't love me or doesn't like me.
